What is "Confidence"?

An important note on “confidence” and why I picked the name Confidence Shooting School.  There are only a few things in the world we can truly be confident about. 

The first confidence is that all mankind are sinners.  That includes me (of whom I am chief).

Only by Grace

The second confidence is that only by Grace are we given Salvation. And that man has no control to change this.  
 

His Will alone

Thirdly, no matter the skills we learn or are taught to us,  “confidence” is given through the Will of God. God may work through others but it in is His Will alone that we have confidence.

Be confident that God is all things.

All that we have done, will do, or even thought about doing is through God alone.

Be confident that no matter our skill, or how much we learn, or what we teach, it is God alone we have trust in.

And know that any confidence that I feel, or help students feel, is all due to the Will of the Lord alone. The Lord alone.
